The Barts and the London Men's Hockey Club (BLMHC) is composed of medical and dental students studying at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. In 1996, the club was formed from the merger of two London medical schools: the London Hospital Medical College and the Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital.〔(Our history, Queen Mary, University of London )〕 The club competes in the southeastern division of the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and the London Universities Sports Leagues (LUSL) and competes annually against the four other London medical schools in the United Hospitals Cup. ==Merger Cup== Since the merging of the medical school with Queen Mary and Westfield College, their respective first 11 teams have competed against one another annually in the Merger Cup.
